I was at the lakefront bright and early this morning for our school's walk-a-thon. My post was the North Avenue Beach, although I was briefly at Navy Pier, as well. I was reminded what a beautiful city Chicago is; Lake Michigan was a striking turquoise and the sun was shining all day. 70 degrees, cool wind blowing, happy walkers--it was an idyllic scene.Ah. Fall is here.
