Another Carnival Ride

I'm in the mood for some cotton candy, or maybe an elephant ear. But no, I haven't forgotten the Wonder Woman program. This is just virtual candy. :)

The origin and destiny of cotton candy -- how it turned into what it did, and how that mass of gauzy stuff became a tiny lump of sticky jelly once one put it in one's mouth -- was one of the mysteries of my youth.

You just have a better vocabulary than I do. :)

And you have, I suspect, a greater sense of wonder--although all mystery lovers have a bit of that.
